John Thachil, M.D.

Education
Dr. Thachil earned his medical degree at the Univeristy of Kerala, India in 1982. He did an internship and residency in internal medicine at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. In 1993, he completed a three-year fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Since then, he has been in full-time private practice specializing in hematology/oncology. He joined Texas Oncology in 1998 having practiced in Chicago and California prior to settling down in Texas. Dr. Thachil has privileges at The Methodist Hospital-Willowbrook, Cypress-Fairbanks Medical Center, Tomball Regional Medical Center, St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital at Vintage Park, Kindred-Houston Northwest Medical Center and Kindred Hospital-Tomball.
