Education
Dr. Wahid earned his medical degree from Dhaka Medical College, Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 1991, Dr. Wahid completed an internship and residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, New York. He completed a fellowship in both Hematology and Oncology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, in 1994. He was ranked as one of the top ten students in a combined merit list from a pool of over 30,000 students and has received the Doctor of the Year Award for four consecutive years.
