Raul M. Portillo, M.D.
General Summary
Dr. Raul Portillo currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas Tech School of Medicine, and served as Chief Resident and Instructor, Department of Surgery in the Division of Trauma and Emergency Room at Texas Tech School of Medicine. He was awarded the A.H. Robbins Award, Best Student, Class of 1977, at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and was a recipient of HIH Grant to study methotrexate-folate interactions at the University of Colorado in 1985. He was also the 1990 – 1992 President of the American Cancer Society, El Paso Division. Dr. Portillo is a member of the El Paso County Medical Society.
