Stephanie C. Han, M.D.
Education
Dr. Han earned her medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, completed her internship at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, and completed her residency at the prestigious Yale-New Haven Hospital. She has more than ten years of experience in treating breast, gastrointestinal, prostate, head and neck and gynecological malignancies. Dr. Han is the author of the chapter on the treatment of vulvar cancer in the book Radiation Oncology: An Evidence-Based Approach which is widely used as a reference book in the practice of radiation oncology. Additionally, Dr. Han has authored and co-authored numerous articles in peer reviewed journals as well as presenting at national conferences.
Prior to moving to El Paso, Dr. Han was medical director of the Radiation Oncology Department at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. She was also an assistant professor at NYU Medical Center in New York and helped build the new Cancer Center of Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn.
Other Information
Dr. Han enjoys fashion, travel and fine cuisine. She was a runway model at the recent fashion show benefiting St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. She is also in the process of forming The Wine and Cuisine Society of El Paso.
