Susan M. Escudier, M.D., FACP

General Summary
Susan M. Escudier, M.D., FACP, has a special interest in solid cancers and benign/malignant blood diseases. She serves on the Texas Oncology Medical Oncology Quality Committee and on the Texas Oncology Board of Directors. Dr Escudier is the Medical Oncology section chief at St Luke’s CHI hospital. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and served as Assistant Professor at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center where she was involved in leukemia research.

Summa cum laude and special honors in Plan II at The University of Texas at Austin 1981; Medical degree in 1985 from Baylor College of Medicine; residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine 1985-1988 where she received the Chief Resident’s Outstanding Medical Resident Award.; fellowship in critical care 1988; fellowship in hematology 1989 at Baylor College of Medicine; and medical oncology fellowship in 1990-91 at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
